Happy Birthday Gill

Also again last night I made a quick card for Gill whom I work with,  Gill totally loves owls so I used Big Owl stamp from Hero Arts it was about time I got to use him/her as I brought it early last years.  I coloured the owl in with my Tombow Markers and a Aquash Pen and then kindy glitzed the owl.  It was her birthday on Sunday. So happy birthday Gill.

Back with a New Layout

Sorry its been a while since I last blogged, I have been so busy with both my childrens birthdays, cousins birthdays and sports carnivals over the past two weeks, but last night I made an effort to put a layout together using (Yet again) Prima papers.  This time they are  both from the Shabby Chic Collection one is called Grape Twilight and the other Apricot Tree.  I have also used Prima Sultan Gem Burgundy Flower Centres as well as Organza flowers from Bumblebee Crafts.   I totally loved the Glitter Spray Flutter Flower Embellishments and had to use it on my page.  I inked the edges of it in red to give it a bit more of a lift.  Also used on my layout was tulle,  Scrapware Chipboard Alphabets and a large Petaloo flower that I have had in my stash for a very long time.

Black & White Cards

Over the weekend which seems like a long time ago I started to make some more male cards to replenish my stock that I sell at Fred The Needle.  While browsing in Spotlight I came across a great range of paper from Grant Archival designed by Cristina Re called Paper Chic, the paper is just gorgeous.  Each page is doubled sided and compliments the other beautifully. So here are a few cards to show you.

Male Cards

Today whilst looking through my paper stash I came across a paper by Birch called Veteran and Vintage.  I brought it intending to make my Dad a card for his birthday as he loves vintage things.  Instead of making one I decided to make four to get full use of the 12x12 paper.  The vintage car on the front is from a clear stamp set by Tim Holtz called - The Journey, I also used a Martha Stewart punch for the border.

A Beautiful Moment

Today I am sharing another Websters layout with you.  I have tried to make the photo really stand out by framing it with Kaiser pearls.  I have also used a beautiful terracotta flower from Prima along with some tulle and a few embellishments to complete my page.  (For all of you wondering yes that is me in the photo taken back on my Wedding Day in September 1995 and yes my natural hair colour is red.

A close up of the embellishments I used.

Beautiful Moment

Just posting another Layout I completed from the new range of Websters Papers.  It is a die cut sheet which is just gorgeous.  The photo I had in mind for the layout was a picture of my mum but it just didn't suit so I had to dig deep amongst older photo's and found a perfect photo of Abbey when she was 3.
