Album for Grandma's Grandaughter

Whilst at work the other week a lady came into the shop and ask if I would scrapbook a few pictures of her grandaughter for her 21st album that she was going to give her as a gift.  Instead of starting from scratch the lady chose a K&Co Album Pre-Designed All-In-One Scrapbook.  Most of the pages are predesigned and all you do is add embellishments etc.  Below are a few of the pages I came up with. I tried to keep it simple so that her Grandaughter can complete the rest of the album, without being to different from my scrapping.  I hope she likes it.

Jack & Jill

Just wanting to share two layouts I created last night, the photos are of Abbey at aged 13 months. She was getting cranky with the photograhper and was over getting her photos taken. The first one says it all, no I'm not going to look anymore.  The second one she started walking towards the photographer with a flower in her hand blowing raspberries.  Too cute!

A short post

Hi all sorry I have been missing for a while but I am trying to catch up on the childrens school albums before the end of the year.  My children seem to be involved in every activity/sport at school and I don't like to miss out on documenting these special occasions.  I have also been busy making christmas cards and a present for Abbey's Teacher.

Taylored Expressions: 12 Days of A Handcrafted Christmas - Day 6

Another great blog post from Taylor, have a peek how to make clips etc.

Teachers Christmas Present

Every year I make the childrens Teachers alpha letters of their name.  Below is the finished initials of Jacks Teacher, "Amelia Jae".  She is a wonderful gifted singer hence the music paper.

Amelia is just about to release her first CD, Amelia Jae No Ordinary day.  You can check it out here  http://www.ameliajae.com/  her voice will give you goose bumps.

Photos not to clear sorry due to sunlight.

Kaiser Star Christmas Wreath

Just following on from my Advent Calendar I made earlier I have used the same left over papers from The Girls Paperie line to create a Kaiser Star Wreath.  You will probably notice a large star hanging from the wreath.  I accidently left it out and only noticed it after I had hot glued all the stars down.  I punched a hole in the top of the left out star and hung it from the wreath along with some Glass Glittered Baubles.  I also added some chipboard Christmas shapes covered with Silver Glitter Glass.

Sugar & Spice

Ok so now I'm on a roll, Jack is at camp for 3 days, Abbey at school, no work for me today, Dr's appointment over so now it's scrap day.  Layout number 3 today.

Using MME Lost & Found Fly Away Paper as the background I felt that you didn't need to decorate this page as much otherwise you would take the effect away from the gorgeous paper, so all I have done is use a mix of flowers on one corner, some lace, pearls and a doily. And then its page complete.

Jack

Well two posts in one day.  Just finished playing with the left over MME Lost & Found Paper to complete another layout, using the same materials as per the other two layouts.

You & Me

Well its definately a long time between posts for me.  Just like to keep you waiting.  I have finally completed a layout using MME Lost and Found Range.  Products used were, MME Looking Glass Paper, Celebrate Paper, Dearest Paper, MME You and Me Title, MME Sweet Die Cut, K&Co Blossomwood Butterfly, Dusty Attic Vintage Frame, Cream & Grey Lace, Kaiser Soft Blue Pearl Brads, German Glass in Silver, Crochet Doily, Kaiser Metallic Silver Paint, Prima Swirls in cream, Prima Ballerina Blooms Recital Flowers and Scrapware Alphabets and Glimmermist in Sand.

Kaiser - Hippy Girl

This month Kaiser are releasing two new ranges of papers and embellishments, here I have used Hippy Girl.  Examples are now on display at http://www.fredtheneedle.com.au/

Papers used for the layout include, Delilah & Spirit, I have also used some Mini Journal Tags and some die cuts from the 6x6 Paper Pad.  Sorry about the colouring of the photos but with the inclement weather the colours just didn't come through, they are much more vibrant in real life.

On The Buses!

I have just completed a layout of my Parents when they first started courting back in the 1960's.  They first met yes I have to say it "On the Buses" back in England when my Dad was the bus driver and my Mum was the Clippie, (ticket conductor).  While visiting them in Qld over Christmas I took a photo of Mum and Dad to Scrapbook, I also had my friend Karen make a cushion using the same photo printed on fabric.  I searched high and low to find a print of the bus that my Mum and Dad use to ride on together, I managed to source it from England and then had it framed for my Dad's Birthday.  On the bus in the print it say CROYDON on the scroll, this is where all us three children were born.  (A little piece of histroy).

Layout Products used. My Minds Eye Meadowlark White dot paper, Cardpaper, Prima Sultan Gems Burgandy, Prima Bonnet Blooms Girlie, Lace Black & White, Marth Stewart Heart Border Punch, Red, Black Bazzill, Scraplets Flourish, Red Jo Sonya Paint and London Bus Fabric left over from the Cushion.

ME

Hi, just another layout I would like to post using the same technique as the one I posted of Jack and myself.  I have completed it on the reverse side of the page and in Burgandy colourings.  Hope you like it.
