Because you're Worth It

Here I have used the new Die Cut from Websters Papers code no: US1754D and also paper called Light The Way US1749D, its just gorgeous and the photo doesn't do the paper justice.  Products I have also used on my layout are: Kaiser pearls, mesh, Delish Rub ons, lace, feathers, organza flowers, black thread and Martha Stewart punches.

Prima Paper Layout 18/2/10

Hello there, just sharing another layout I have just completed using the new Prima Marketing Papers and flowers, they are just gorgeous and are just my colouring.   I am loving flowers at the moment that look like they are handmade, they give this layout a real Shabby Chic feel.

For the papers I have used Prima Flights of Fancy Collection, Faith and Firefly, for the aqua colour paper it is a recent Bella Paper that I had left over in my stash.  All papers you will find at Fred the Needle.   The flowers are called Maestro Mauve, they are quite generous as you get six in the packet.  Also used were Prima Swirls in a pale pink shade.  Other products used are skeleton leaves spray with glimmer mist in Latte, rhinestones from Kaiser, off white tuelle, martha stewart punches, kindy glitz, mini floral pearls on a stem from spotlight and thickers.

How do you MEASURE love between brother & sister?

Last week at work arrived some Yummy Cosmo Cricket papers called "Material Girl".  Of course I just had to have them.  The photos I used of the children I took at home last month and I just love the way they are so natural with a bit of a blurred background.  I am slowly getting the hang of using more settings on my camera.  I hope you like it.

Australia Day Layout 26th Feb 2010

Today I am posting a layout I done last night.  The photo is of Abbey of myself taken on Australia Day at the Regatta Centre, every year we turn up at 7.00am ready for a 5km run around the regatta.  Jack and Abbey decided this year they would participate.  Jack ran 5km in 22 minutes followed by me around 26 minutes.  Abbey decided walk-run with a friends daughter and came in around 45 mintues, an outstanding effort by us all as the humidity on the day was very uncomfortable.

Happy Valentines Day 2010

Just wanted to post a card I quickly made this morning for my Husband, I used one of the new embossing cuttlebug heart folders. I also used Kaiser bling in the heart shaped.  For the actual elephant, it was a freebie from a website that I cannot remember. (sorry for that).   I actually felt a bit guilty for not buying him anything as he surprised me with two Pandora charms and a 12 long red roses.

Our Angel

Well, well two posts in one day, thats only because I have finished another layout.  I just haven't had the energy to get motivated since school started back so hopefully now I will be on a roll.  I created the My Angel layout below using Websters papers, Your life beautiful paper and Winter wings.  The music paper I think is part of an October Afternoon range.  I used velvet flowers that come in a bunch and just separated them, a string of pearls, some ribbon a Maya Road flower that I have had forever and a flower braid that I bunched up to make like a big flower.  All materials are sold at http://www.fredtheneedle.blogspot.com/.  For the title they are actually a plastic alphabet from Heidi Swapp in the font called Control Freak - pink.  I also used the Martha Stewart punch to punch out two butterflies and covered them with Kindy Glitz and added a few pearls to their bodies.

Birthday Card

As all my friends know I love to make any type of card.  Today's post is a Birthday Card for a dear friend who is celebrating her birthday on February 5th.

The shoe stamp I have used is from a set of Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps called High Heels.  In the set it has four (4) fabulous high heel and two saying.  I used Spellbinders label four in 3 different sizes to create the background effect. The spotted paper is from K & Co part of their Amy Butler range.  The border punch is from Martha Stewart.  I hope she likes it.
